"run as..."
hi we have CS6 installed on some of our W7 pc's and our users need to regularly run the update on these programs for the latest raw file. now the way I see it, I can either make them all local admins (NO!!) or I can try and find a way of making the programs "run as..." and automatically using a local admin account - this would only affect the relevant programs!!!! is this possible or am i going about this the wrong way?!! btw I've seen stuff about scripting and running different GPO's but this kind of goes a bit above my head!!!! thx :) Elliott

Hi, You can utilize a script to run an application with Administrative priviledge, but I am afraid the administrator embedded in the script will be exposed to end user. For GPO, if the application's updates are stand-alone packages and the format of packages is msi in the meantime, you could try to use GPO to deploy these updates. Juke Chou TechNet Community Support
